Exam Security and Academic Integrity Policy

Version 2026.1 · Effective:

1. Prohibited behaviors

  • Taking an exam on behalf of another person or having another person take an exam on one's behalf.
  • Copying, taking screenshots, recording, sharing, or publishing questions without authorization during or after the exam.
  • Using artificial intelligence, calculation tools, messaging applications, search engines, or any other external assistance, except for tools expressly permitted in the exam rules.
  • Exchanging answers with other candidates.
  • Attempting to bypass the security controls, time limits, or access restrictions of the exam system.
  • Misleading online proctoring or security mechanisms.

2. Technical controls

For exam security, the platform may process session, IP, device/browser, timestamp, answer change, unusual session behavior, and security event logs. Events such as exiting full-screen mode, switching tabs or windows, using a second screen, copying, printing, using the screenshot key, and developer tools are recorded during the online exam. The platform does not use cameras, microphones, screen recording, or technical means of a biometric nature; if the use of such technology is ever considered, it shall be notified in advance, separately and explicitly, by assessing necessity, proportionality, legal basis, retention period, and impact on children.

3. Review process

Automated risk signals shall not be used alone as a definitive violation decision. Suspicious events, technical logs, and the candidate's explanation shall be evaluated together; the decision and appeal process shall be documented.

4. Sanctions

Depending on the nature of the violation, a warning, invalidation of the exam, cancellation of results, disqualification from the relevant stage, or account restriction may be applied. Sanctions shall be proportionate, and the candidate/parent shall be notified whenever possible.
